The primary focus of energy in children's ministry at Ranbow City Church of God will be to develop a master plan for ministry that incorporates both the church missioin "LIFE" and the overall focus for the children's department "Reaching, Teaching, and Pastoring Children."  This master plan will be developed as a result of prayer and evaluation that will include short and long term goals, needs assessment, standards for leadership, expectations of ministry , job descriptions for ministry positions, methodologies for Christian education and discipleship as well as all the "how to's" to get us there.

Each ministry in the children's department will attempt in whole or in part to develop and incorporate the following types of programs:  momentum, support, service and descipleship.  Full implementation of this vision will be a result of a developed coorperation with parents in ministry and a greater commitment from children's ministry staff and volunteers to incorporate the motto "Everything with Excellence" into all aspects of our service to the Lord.  The goal to be reached each year is for children's ministry to raise the standard, to set the standard, and to be the standard for ministry.  Taking heed to these words, "Excellence can be obtained if you care more than others think is wise; you risk more than others think is safe; if you dream more than others think is practical; and if you expect more than others think is possible."
